KODAK 1400 - Free to good home

Hi, i am clearing out my garage and have come across a Kodak 1400 12x8 sheet feed printer. If anyone can make use of it they are welcome to it. There is no media with it, i have the original cd with drivers.

I am at the autumn thingy on Thurs/Fri so i could bring it along there if you wish to collect it. Otherwise you can collect from Solihull or pay shipping (it's quite heavy).

Hi Reg, I'm the guy who donated money for your 1400, don't know if you can help me but the printer won't pull the paper in, if I give it some help it goes but then the rollers inside mark the paper!

Do you know what the problem is or where I might get it serviced/repaired?

    Best wishes

Thanks Reg, I followed the instructions on the link you gave me and it is a little bit better, maybe just needs some more tweaking.

    Best regards

Any chance of sharing the link, as I also have a problem with a Kodak 1400 not picking up paper correct, and did you fix it?

From memory try using some fine abrasive paper (wet and dry) on the pickup rollers this may help.

Otherwise it's possibly beyond economic repair IMHO.
