    Kodak 805 printer - NEWS

I have just found out today that the Kodak 805 printer has been discontinued.

( this was the sheet feed A4 and LL dye sub)

Print media will still be available for existing users.

I have been thinking of buying something like this to complement my Mistubishi which only goes to 6x9.

I thought that something like this may be suitable for the occasional 12x8 print request At perhaps £15 per print? Anybody else do something similar to this?

I know that the print costs are more considerable on something like this, and of course it is not roll fed. I have heard of feed issues as well.

    Anybody successfully use this?

The Mitsubishi equivalent is the CP3020DAE.

The roll feed will be the CP3800.

Re: Kodak 805 printer - NEWS

The 805 was not recommended for event guys by kodak if my memory serves me.

It looked like a Kodak 1400 but unsure how it performed (Must have been better than the 1400 though!)

Mitsubishi CP3020 was always much better than the 1400 (not difficult though) and Mitsi did make the 8500 for Kodak I believe

CP3020DE and now the CP3020DA are good sheet fed printers but the CP3800 is miles better as the images don't need trimming and it is faster and cheaper to run.

    Kind Regards

    Stuart
