Yes, to a round of applause! This is just one of a sequence of 5 shots - they bought three of them. I was a little disappointed that they didn't look at the rest of the test for some reason!

The poor girl was in tears when she saw the photos - she hadn't realised just how close to disaster she'd been. I was convinced that they were going to go over backwards, which would have been nasty.

P.S. I deny any rumours that I leapt out from behind the judging box and shouted "Boo!"

And I thought they were menat to do this. I remember seeing a prog about the Lipitzano horses and am sure they were standing up like this

Well captured Simon :) Rob that is correct they do train them to do this .... however it is controlled !!! not out of controll like this rider ..

I believe these moves were taught by the military to dismount the enemy ...

Hi Simon - no, didn't buy it - she was schooling it for someone and hated it so didn't want a reminder!

Good reactions, nice pictures.

I sometimes get the feeling that horses may prefer not to be ridden thank you very much !!

Did she blame you? thats the response I get at these shows even though I am outside the arena with a 300 f2.8 and on silent shot :)

Great shot by the way
