It should be fairly obvious that we have gone all colourfull - in reality very little has changed, all I have done is made some things more obvious.

The site has always had 2 forum areas, the public one and a second one that is available if you post a link to the site from your event photography website as per http://www.eventphotographersociety.co. ... isted.html (http://www.eventphotographersociety.co.uk/Event_Photographers_Get_Listed.html) and when the paid membership is introduced this second forum will be included as part of that package.

If you think that you should be able to access this area please contact me. I am not trying to split the membership but rather put more professional facilities in place to be shared with other professionals - just like happened at Coventry.

So what do the colours represent?

If this has already been explained I appologise for missing it.

I removed the legend because it makes it far too easy to harvest address info.

Standard members have Blue
Registered Members have Gold
Admin has Red
Global Moderators have Green
Trade has very pale Blue

For the observant amongst you there is also the named group of the user included in the panel to the left. Trade is obvious, those that are full members are Registered and those that have just signed up to the forum are Affiliate. I am happy to change the name of the Affiliate group if somebody has a more appropiate title.

Hi Pete,

Come in from the cold, you've gone blue!

Good to speak to you yesterday, must catch up for a coffee some time.

02-12-2009, 10:48 AM
Thank you Ian,
It was a privilege to be able to quiz your knowledge and be given such helpful answers. I'll be very happy to catch up and sup coffee... its my other favourite pass time!
As this is a cold (and presently lonely colour) I cannot help but wonder what I've done (or not) to be left out here!
Do let me know when I can come in...

Or perhaps I should just bathe more!
