Please be aware that the latest drivers and a status utility for Citizen CW-01 printers are now available to download from the Citizen website.

Drivers are for Windows 2000, XP and Vista. At this moment in time, now Windows 7 drivers are availalbe although they are being worked on.

There is a small utility there also so to allow you to read data such as total print counts and current prints left on a roll.

I will post this in the Olmec forum as well as it applies to OP900 printers as well.
There is also an FAQ on our site which may help clear up any questions on the OP900 product:

Hi Mark

The status utility is very welcome as this is something I missed from day one when I moved from a Mitsi 9550.

Will there be something similar for the CXW too?

Hi Graham,

Not all Citizen manufactured printers are sold under Citizen brand in all markets. That is the nature of this type of business.

If a printer is not sold as a Citizen machine, we cannot produce utilities for it and you would need to approach the branded manufacturer for such a utility.

The basic .DLL files used to monitor the printers are broadly the same on all of our printers so it should not be so difficult to implement this, but this is currently 'out of our hands' to support others at this moment.
